1. Data collected

AdviceRequest collects the following data:

  • Email and name at account creation (via Keycloak)
  • Name and information about your business
  • Contact details of your end customers that you enter or import to send them review requests: phone numbers (SMS) and email addresses
  • Ratings and private messages left by your customers on your review collection page
  • Public Google reviews of your business
  • Billing data for your subscription (processed by Stripe)

2. Use of data

Your data is used to:

  • Allow you to send review requests to your customers and follow up automatically
  • Display your Google reviews in your dashboard and alert you to new reviews
  • Generate suggested replies to your Google reviews (via AI), which you review and then copy and paste into Google yourself
  • Send you monthly activity reports

3. Google reviews

AdviceRequest retrieves the public reviews of your business's Google listing to display them in your dashboard and prepare reply suggestions. AdviceRequest does not publish any review or reply on Google on your behalf: you copy the reply and paste it into Google yourself.

4. Data retention

Your data is kept while your account is active (trial or subscription). When a trial ends without a subscription, or after your subscription is cancelled, it remains available for 30 days (in particular for export), then is deleted, in line with our terms of sale. Invoices are kept for the period required by law. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except with our technical providers:

  • OVH (server hosting, in France)
  • Brevo (email and SMS delivery)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Outscraper (retrieval of your business's public Google reviews)
  • OpenAI (reply suggestion generation)

6. Google API compliance

Where AdviceRequest uses information received from Google APIs, its use and transfer to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, Google user data is not used for advertising purposes, and is not sold or transferred to third parties.

7. Legal bases

Your account and business data are processed to perform our contract with you (providing the service). Your customers' phone numbers and emails are processed on your behalf, as a processor: you remain responsible for having obtained their agreement to be contacted by SMS and/or email.

8. Hosting and transfers outside the EU

The service is hosted in France by OVH. Some providers (notably OpenAI, Stripe and Outscraper) may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

10. Cookies

The marketing website uses no advertising cookies and no analytics tools. Only strictly necessary cookies (keeping you logged in) are used in the app.
